Junkyard Hunting
More below the fold.
Went to the yard today and came across some cool stuff and some bizarre. First I got the above great condition stamped steel door panels for my truck (usually they’re cut up for speakers). I also scored the below mirror heads for my West Coast mirrors.
Other than that I didn’t get much but spotted some cool and some bizarre stuff. First the cool, this old Super Slick truck, it appears to have started out as a Medium duty truck and somebody fabbed up a bed for it.
Now for the bizarre, this was somebody’s idea of dual exhaust for a Bumpside truck with the auxiliary tank. Looks good, right?
Hmm, how to get it past the crossmember?

While I didn’t get everything I would have wanted it wasn’t a bad day at hte yard. As usual even a semi-unproductive day at the yard was better than a day at work though!
