This year we decided to drive to Charleston, West Virginia for Christmas with Holly’s family. Below is a highlight reel of that trip.

I’ve added a new section to the site, Maps & Trails, I’ll be slowly filling this section with maps of my favorite trails around the country plus other accurate maps that I’ve collected along the way.  Right now I’ve stocked it with my USFS region 5 (California) maps to get it started.

The 2003 NAXJA Fall Fling was also a celebration of twenty years of the XJ, because it was shaping up to be a large event and I was the president of the newly created Southern California chapter I just had to go. I rolled into Moab late Wednesday night and left on Saturday. It was a very hectic few days but I’m glad I went, it was quite a thing to see a hundred seventy-five Cherokees all lined up in the Moab city park!
