Pulling the ‘96 Out
Saturday, December 5th, 2009Just a couple of pointless videos here. Me bringing the ‘96 out of my work area and then pulling the red Jeep into it for storage.
Tip: Go into full screen mode to see it better.
That’s it.

Do that and it’ll fit… But just barely!

Ash on the Jeep
Thursday, October 25th, 2007I haven’t driven the red Jeep in a couple of weeks since the Chief is cheaper to drive. Since it’s been sitting there it has collected a good amount of ash from the fires. It would probably have twice as much if it weren’t for the tree it’s parked under.
Just so you know the nearest fire is probably around thirty miles away, that is the Malibu fire, and this ash isn’t from it.. This is mostly from the Arrowhead and Irvine fires.

Friday, May 4th, 2007John Bull Trail – A Curse Lifted
Monday, January 15th, 2007Well since I had a day off work and nothing to do I decided to head up to Big Bear to finally knock John Bull off the list. Instead of making it a full trip I just called up Josh and Cal and the three of us went up there and attacked it stealth-like. This was during an unusually cold period (it hadn’t gotten above freezing in about a week) so the snow was still a beautiful fine power that wisped across the road with a slight breeze, there was also very little ice to be found since the snow wasn’t melting.
The only misadventure to be had was me getting out of my Jeep in a gas station parking lot… My foot found a nice ice spot and down I went.
As a side note: The highest temperature we saw all day was 24° F.
